First thing tomorrow morning we'll be leaving York and hopping on a train for Bristol. This morning we (eg. Kathy) spent the morning packing and generally organizing.
I walked into town to mail the key from our Paris apartment back to the agent in the states (and to have a wee bacon butty to ward off a dangerous faintness.)
When I got back, we met the three Sylvester girls, Sarah, Rachel and Jane (although technically, only Jane is a Sylvester girl, since Sarah and Rachel are married) for lunch.
Rachael (Weber) carried her new baby Adi and her husband Caelen pushed little Libby in the stroller. Sarah's (Bard) husband Dan caught up to us a little later. He just pulled his second overnight shift at the hospital, and was pretty groggy.
We went to a nice Thai restaurant that they all liked. I got a picture of the starter course, but, as usual, when the main courses came round, I'm into the food and forgot all about taking pictures.
After lunch we walked over to the ice-cream store (Licc) that Sarah works at and had some dessert while we walked home. We didn't see William and Kate, although it's rumored that they stop by from time to time.
Back at Walmgate, Caelen made us coffee at the Bible College coffee house. A wonderful way to spend an afternoon.
Tonight, we did some last minute packing. Tomorrow, a four-hour train ride to Bristol, and new sights to see. We'll miss the people here, though, who have been so kind to us.
