Sunday at CreationFest

Sunny days are gone again! The rain is pretty blustery. We had a nice breakfast at our B&B. Serve yourself cereal, fruit, juice, berries, yoghurt at the sideboard.

Then, you have your choice of different cooked breakfasts. Today we had the Cornish Ham Mustard Melt. It is two large slices of toast, covered with ham, melted cheese and mustard, and topped with a fried egg. Because we were the first ones down to breakfast today, we got the window seat.

We felt pretty refreshed after a good night's sleep, so we decided to walk over to the Showgrounds (instead of taking the bus.) We were a little late for the first service (and missed the video from Brian. Anyone have a link?) The entire Big Shed was packed out.

Phil Pechonis gave the opening message. Most of the seats were filled and there were still a lot of people coming in and in the overflow (Cafe) part of the Big Shed. Scott Cunningham did the worship, which was great.

We got to see many friends and meet some new ones. Karen Robinson from Bristol, whom we haven't seen for two years.

In the afternoon, we went to a message by Annie Stone. Annie and her husband Shawn have been at Calvary Chapel Nice, working in the School of Ministry there.

We also heard a message on The Cross by Dave Shirley, the directory of the Calvary Chapel Bible School in Murrieta. We had just seen Dave at the Claycamps in Exeter.

After the afternoon sessions, we took Karen to dinner at the Raj, an Indian place in downtown Wadebridge. (Sorry kids; I forgot to take pictures.) On the way out, we stopped by the Children's tent.

We also stopped by so Karen could visit with Allie, who she hadn't seen for a while.

We also managed to catch Rob Dingman explaining the fine points of bracelet making (his daughter Holly is running the girl's bracelet making seminar) to Shawn Stone.
